About this project.
The site did most of the talking on this one. Mature trees and a substantial rock outcrop constrained where the house could sit and how the driveway could approach it, so excavation and site engineering were the first real design decisions.
We set the house to work with the outcrop instead of removing it, then ran the paver driveway around it. The result keeps the mature landscape intact.
Interiors are deliberately restrained: white walls, wide-plank oak and generous glazing, letting the wooded outlook do the work in every principal room.
